Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for price. Purchased to cut 600 x 300 x 9mm porcelain wall tiles. Did the job well. Please note this is built to a price and so is mostly plastic. Due to the size of the tiles I used the cutter gently, allowing the motor to rest, changing the water frequently and not forcing the tile through the cutting disc. I have to say for the person who uses sensibly this tile cutter will do the job well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrendous product Very cheaply made. Caused chips in tile when cutting. Two spanners are supplied to change the blade, one spanner was the wrong size for the nut so I had to file it down to get it to fit. The other spanner cicrled when I applied pressure to tighten it. The mitre table was missing legs to prop it up, so I was unable to use the mitre fucntion. When cutting, water sprayed everywhere which made it hard to see what I was doing. The cutting guide was flimsy and made it difficult to push the tile into the blade in a straight line. Would not reccomend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap but nice tile cutter It does the job but don't expect any miracles. It is quite ok for the price - I used it to cut 1mm thick tiles and even if the measuring guide is not super - accurate I have done the job without any problems. Spills some water around so better to use it outside or have floor prepared for a mess. Not very easy to clean, but I didn't find this to be a problem really. Not for a professional use but works fine with small domestic jobs.

Cutting

Hi, can this cut textured tiles i.e. the tile has a none smooth surface. The tile is 10mm thick. Thanks
Asked by: Garrfy
Hello Garrfy, This cutter can cut up to 23mm thickness of tiles, because the surface isn't smooth we would advise you take care and be gentle whilst cutting these tiles. Thank you for using Q & A. DC

Plunge cutting

What exactly is meant by" plunge cutting" in features on this machine? can u explain the process how this get s done pls. thank you
Asked by: Honza1
As they said it is a typo but remains uncorrected.. If you wish to plunge cut for a socket I use a small grinder with diamond blade, or for round holes use a diamond hole saw of correct size .
