Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product This saw is very easy to use and light so easy to transport about also cuts very clean 7 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value, perfect! I was looking for something I could use to cut plastic dado trunking fascia to fit new back boxes for Data point installations. The specs do not state whether the blade supplied is suitable for plastics so the super helpful staff at my local screwfix store pulled out the box to have a look, the box wasn't any help though so I purchased it anyway and took a chance am I'm so glad I did! This unit does a perfect neat job and cuts loads of time and no more rough hack saw marks! The only downside is that the on-site spark keeps borrowing it now for fitting his electrical back boxes! 16 Jun 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mitre Saw bought this saw after my last one finally died after 16 yrs of use hope this one is just as good doesnt feel as good not as smooth but up to now it is doing the job 1 Jun 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor quality Returned this saw after ten minutes of cutting wood as the motor was making a grinding noise. The overall build quality is not very good. The staff at screwfix were brilliant as always and swapped it straight away for the evolution rage saw which was reduced to the same price. The evolution feels and performs so much better and I am so glad I swapped. 30 Apr 2016

Answer:
Hi 1958. The maximum cross-cut of this saw is only 120 x 55mm. Slide compound mitre saws will have a greater cross-cut capacity than a standard mitre saw. I hope this information is of help to you.

Answer:
Hi Ryan450728,

The machine would be able to cut through perspex but the blade may need to be changed to achieve a finer cut. alternatively some sanding/filing on the cut edge to improve the appearance.

I hope this has helped.

Answer:
Thank you for your question, this product has a safety release lever, which when held in conjunction with the trigger, will allow the blade guard to open as the saw is lowered towards the base plate.
