Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap but surprising OK this isn't professional standard, but for the price of this drill you get quality performance. Don't be put off by the price, this will do everything the DIY person needs it to do in the home. This is a cheap but very good drill, far better than the price would indicate. 16 Apr 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by better than my B&D! bought this to replace my ageing B&D drill. this one looks, performs and feels better then my old one ever did. this will be put to good work on my capri restoration!! 2 Apr 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks + Feels good. Good Value Having worked with mainly Hilti Industrial power tools in my earlier years I tend to be fussy when it comes to Drill Machines, especially if they are going to be used for heavy work. Having said that I always looked after my tools. This drill machine is the first cheap buy I have made but it feels good and I believe it will last many years if looked after. Not a precision piece of equipment but more than adequate for hand held masonry, metal and wood drilling. Very few artisans in the uk do precision work anymore (ie multi jig hole /flange hole and cuts to a micrometer reading etc). Those days are past and tradesmen today do not have the skill (or even know how to use a hand file) that was an essential part of traditional apprenticeships (precision work is done by machines instead and thus the precision hand skills are gone.....sad really. ). For rough work this drill machine is more than good enough and will be used in conditions where it may get grubby. Being a low cost buy I do not have to worry about it. All in all a very good value buy. 21 Mar 2016

Answer:
Hello Mannu.

This is a percussion drill which means that it has a hammer action. A hammer action means that the bit inserted into the drill rapidly moves a very small distance in and out to deliver a blow / impact to the material being drilled. If your application is to simply tighten and un-tighten screws then our power screwdriver range will be more suitable, they can be found here > http://www.screwfix.com/c/tools/pow...

If you need a drill with a hammer action as well as to drive screws then a cordless combi drill which has a selectable hammer action might be more suitable > http://www.screwfix.com/c/tools/dri...

If you do not require a hammer action drill and simply want to drill for putting up shelves for example and to drive screws then a drill driver would be the best option > http://www.screwfix.com/c/tools/dri...

We have a great range to suit all budgets whichever option you choose as well as the top brands.

Answer:
Hi,

This product would be able to power a paddle mixer but as to whether or not it could mix a bag at a time would depend on the size of the mixing trough and the size of the bag to be mixed.

Apologies for the limited help i can provide.

I have a drill stand with a 43mm diameter collar and was wondering if this cheeky lil rascal would fit? The stand will clamp around the drill where the spare handle would normally sit. Any help gratefully received, Cheers

Hi, Though we do not have the information regarding the collar size of this drill, we would expect it to be the industry standard 43mm. I hope this information is of help to you.

Answer:
Doesn't fit in the cheaper record drillstand without putting a coke can shim around the gearbox housing. Also when in place the back of the chuck is only a hair away from the clamp.
