Ebac Amazon 15Ltr Dehumidifier Unit
NOT 15 litres per day!
This was our sixth dehumidifier in the past four years that we've either bought for ourselves or others. Even with a humidity of almost 60% the unit could only achieve 2.5 litres per day (on max), and failed to reduce the humidity in the room it was placed in. When we contacted Ebac we were told that "15 litres per day" would only be achieved under "tropical conditions"! I think it may only be for the smallest of rooms, and even then may struggle. On its lowest setting it is quiet, but I doubt it would collect any water at all on that setting! Also, even though Screwfix say it consumes 168 watts - with a maximum of 210 watts (whatever that means!), the label inside says it's actually 320 watts! At this consumption a desiccant model would be better (like RubyDry)

Very pleased with this purchase. We have a terrible damp problem, black mould appearing on walls, wall paper peeling off etc. This product has made a noticeable difference.
Only downside is i do find it a little heavy to move around and agree with the other reviewers comments about the castors. However that is not a reason not to buy. Would def. recommend.

A good purchase overall
Very good at doing what it is supposed to do, it just seems to pull moisture out of the air. A couple of little niggles stop it getting top marks;
1. Castors are an optional extra - it would be nice if they were fitted as standard.
2. The front door seems to drop open at the slightest knock. This doesn't impact on performance but is a little irritating.

Similar Product bought before
Rather disappointed it is not on casters and it does not seem to collect as much water as our previous Ebac did. But overall we are very pleased with its performance.
