Warm safety wellies
Great to find a pair of safety wellies that not only keep your feet dry but warm as well and they don't weigh a ton!

Great boots on our narrow boat
My wife and I have bought a pair of these each to use on our narrow boat as we were fed up with struggling in ordinary boots and shoes on muddy (and often dog poo-covered) towpaths.
These can be washed off in the canal with little chance of water getting into them, and will protect your toes and the soles of your feet. They also keep the bottoms of your trousers dry and clean.
In spite of what it says on here ('Water Resistant'), according to the makers they are 100% waterproof, and resistant to a lot of other things too, which is most reassuring.
They are quite expensive, but by gum are we impressed with them. We had a cruise on our boat for a couple of hours in weather close to freezing a couple of weeks ago and standing on the (painted steel plate) stern wearing them the whole time, along with some thick socks, it's the first time I've still had warm feet afterwards. The insulation clearly works.
The grip from the soles was also very impressive, in spite of the metal I was standing on being damp. Jumping on and off the boat in them gave no cause for concern at all.
The fit is great, really comfortable and yet they're still easy to get on and off.
Other people have commented on the sizing, and indeed we both had to go back and buy pairs one size down from our usual shoe sizes to get the right fit. (Screwfix's splendid returns policy meant we were able to try them in our home first and bring back the unused pairs for a refund.)
Longevity is something I can't yet comment on, but if you're in two minds about buying some wellies this expensive, my advice is to go ahead if you can afford them. I'm sure you won't regret it.

Warm, waterproof, comfortable. Like most wellies, they tend to the large size - I'm normally an 8 but got a 7 having had Dunlop boots before and they fit perfectly.
Not tested the protection and hopefully won't have to, but the S5 rating is as good as you can get.
They feel slightly less grippy on tarmac than my last boots, very minor point and I haven't actually slipped yet.

Boots look to be good quality, and are alot more comfy to wear compared to cheaper wellies. I found a previous reviewer who said boots are large in size misleading. I am 9.5 UK so ordered a 9 which were too tight, exchanged for a 10 which were a comfy fit with normal socks on, but a bit too snug a fit if your wearing a thicker sock. Beware these boots are unisex, so if your a man with wide feet like myself and are a half size you may need to go up a size.Have not had boots for long hence 4 stars. These boots are pricy but alot better quality than the cheaper wellies.
