Air seal poorly fitted just glued on drop down door and snags on frame when opened and closed, seal would be better fitted under outer frame lip.
Pivot pins used instead of a hinge, which are only small and are inaccessible once the loft hatch is fitted unit supplied with loose pivot pins and had to be removed to tighten them up, a messy job once fire stop sealant had been used to bed unit in.
A poor quality budget lock is fitted with a very shallow location point and with the plastic key supplied will I'm sure soon cause problems of use, other units I have installed have a three point locking mechanism which is very positive in function.
Inner lining of dropdown hatch is only light weight polyester cloth and would benefit from a solid material to facilitate cleaning and longevity of product.

Bought this to replace an existing roof hatch without insulation. It was easy enough to build out the existing opening to take the hatch, but once fitted I have found it a bit fiddly to close. The tee key for opening the hatch is very short for a standard ceiling height, and I have had to make a new key extension so that I can reach the hatch. Other than that it is a good product.
