Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT TOOL!! what a great tool! this was used to unblock a sink waste that runs under my floor saving hours of messing about lifitng floor boards to find the blockage. It takes a bit of time but with some careful use i have pulled all sorts of rubbish from the pipe and the waste now flows freely. well recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drain Unblocker After spending my evening from 8 till 11PM with chemical unblockers to no avail I purchased this item the next day my blockage was approx 4 M into the 40mm waste pipework which was concealed behind kitchen units with 2 X 90 degree bends this handy tool sorted the blockage within 10 minutes good tip about bending the auger tip slightly this helped in navigating the bends this was such a good purchase even if i only use it once i would definatlely recommend this item

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nightmare resolved! Woke up to find concealed waste pipe for sink, dishwasher and washing machine blocked. Attempts to clear it with long wires etc. were futile. Purchased a Drain Unblocker (11325) from Screwfix locally. Half an hour later I had a clear waste pipe. Super service and an excellent easy-to-use product. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works Chemical unblockers would not clear bathroom sink, coat hanger would only get so far, so picked up this tool and easily manoeuvred it around many bends to clear the blockage. Money well spent.

Does Drain Unblocker item 11325 go in through sink or does plumbing under sink have to be taken apart?

Asked by: WomanDIYer

Assembled as per instructions but unsure how to use. placed cable in drain and rotated anticlockwise but doesn't feed in itself. Tried clockwise but no joy either. How does this thing work?

Asked by: claphamwill2017
Hi Claphamwill2017, Unfortunately Screwfix is unable to offer usage advice other than that contained in the manufacturer’s instructions. See Instructions "Point No. 1 - Loosen silver locking screw at point of tool". Check there is not a locking nut / sleeve where the cable comes out of the holder. If there is one, must sure you release it. We understand the correct method is the turn the handle in a clockwise direction. We hope this information is of help to you. Thank you for using Q&A. PB

Assembly help!!

Answers to the previous question in regard to assembling the unblocker are insufficient. Ok, after following instructions, the handle just spins on the unit. There does not appear to be anyway to lock the handle in place. Screwfix, please sort this out!
Asked by: Db19
Scrub that question! In my haste to get the job done I presumed the handle would be fixed. It should turn with the turnbuckle.

What's the difference between this and the pipe and drain cleaning coil?

We need to unblock a toilet so would this or this http://www.screwfix.com/p/plumbing-tools-by-rothenberger-pipe-drain-cleaning-coil/65766 be best? Thanks
Asked by: ElliotW
Hello. It is entirely down to your own preference witch one you use. The 4" Plunger (80690), will help to unblock your toilet, or if you need something to go around the u bend you would be better off with the drain unblocker (11325). Thank you for using Q&A.

Will it go through a 22mm pipe?

Asked by: Silver20
Hello Silver20. As far as we are aware this should go through your 22 mm pipe as the widest part of bristles is around 19 mm. Thank you for using Q&A.
