Rated 4 out of 5 by plasterboard fixing great product good value, will hold reasonable weight, easy to use 9 May 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy These are robust and work well, occasionally will snap but overall very good product. 14 Mar 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best in Class These are far superior to cheaper nylon versions and give a very strong, secure fixing. Slightly dearer than others but good value for the 100 pack supplied (even better value when on offer). I would agree with other reviews that screws length should be stated at 35mm not 25mm, but they do screw in flush as the tip can pass through and beyond the body of the plug. If a shorter screw is unavoidable, just use a standard 25mm screw instead. 24 Feb 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wrong Screws Supplied Beware this product. The description says 25mm screws. The box packaging says 25mm screws. Inside the box are 35mm screws. So if like me you bought this because of the shorter fixings you will be disappointed. 29 Jan 2016

Answer:
Thanks for your question, no we would not recommend a zip it to fit a curtain pole. I would use a PX plug with a screw, the PX plugs are codes 6967J, 8521J, and 2677J. The actual length of the fixing is 25mm

Thank you for your question. Do you know the weight of the mirrors? If the mirrors are above 100kg and as it is going into plasterboard you may be better using a hollow wall anchor which gives added strength in plasterboard. These plasterboard fixings screw into the plasterboard where as a hollow wall anchor spreads the load behind the plasterboard which gives a stronger hold. The product codes to look at are 4678F, 5505F, 3183F, 1836F.

Thanks for your question. For a radiator I would use a hollow wall anchor as it gives more support. Radiators unfortunately do not have a consistent load as people will sit on them and you have water running through. Depending on the size of your plasterboard I would go for one of the following options 4678F, 5505F, 3183F or 1836F.

I want to hang a heavy full length mirror weighing approximately 10 kg. It has 4 holes to attach it to the fixing.

Thank you for your question. The fixing will have no problem with this kind of load.
