Rated 5 out of 5 by Dewalt Quality Kit I originally bought an Eruber , took it back and changed for the Dewalt well worth that bit extra, Brilliant little radio, good sound, well made , good lead storage. Could do with a plug clip though. I can use my existing Dewalt batteries and charger when away from the mains. I like Dewalt tools, Bought this as a birthday present to myself! and am very pleased with this purchase! 16 Aug 2016

Answer:
Hi SteTheSpark
You should be able to get 2 - 3 hours run time off of a fully charged 10.8v 1.5Ah Battery depending on the volume you run it at.
You could get up to 8-10 hours on a 18v 4Ah or 5Ah battery.

Answer:
Hi there, this radio would have a 240v 3 pin plug on the end of the lead so you wouldn't be able to run it off of a 110V outlet. Also I would check with your site health and safety people before using any 240v products on site as it probably won't be allowed.

Answer:
I have found that it takes around 1 1/2 of my 2Ah batteries for an 8 hour day (ie 3 charge cycles over 2 days). I play the radio at around volume 10 which I find is easily loud enough where I am (it will go up to 30). Playing louder will inevitably use up the batteries more quickly.

Answer:
Depends on which battery you are using, I have the dewalt Xr 4.0ah batteries and they last about 2 days and a little more on a full charge.
