Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent DAB Radio Bought this for my garage. Very robust and looks good. DAB obviously makes finding channels easier and the sports extra signals. Sound is fantastic. USB for phone charging is great. No idea how the battery charger works as clearly my drill has a different socket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DAB and FM radio I had the FM version of the same radio and was very pleased with its performance. I got the DAB version to listen to the extra channels that are not available on FM. The sound is very good for its size. There is a compartment to put your phone in when charging which also has the Aux input cable. The plug hasn't got a specific housing to sit in but as with my FM version a loose tye wrap around the handle stops it trailing. Battery life is a slightly less on DAB, but not enough to concern me. Glad I switched.

Hi there
Unfortunately you cannot preset radio stations on this radio. It does say you can in the instruction manual but this is a printing error.
Apologies for any inconveniences

Hi SteTheSpark
You should be able to get 2 - 3 hours run time off of a fully charged 10.8v 1.5Ah Battery depending on the volume you run it at.
You could get up to 8-10 hours on a 18v 4Ah or 5Ah battery.

Answer:
Hi there, this radio would have a 240v 3 pin plug on the end of the lead so you wouldn't be able to run it off of a 110V outlet. Also I would check with your site health and safety people before using any 240v products on site as it probably won't be allowed.
