DeWalt Work Safety Boots Wheat Size 8
..no, not me, I'm more of a stubborn mule.
But these boots certainly are. I have a pair of the lightweight DeWalt boots which I love and I wanted something a little more substantive for when I am coppicing woodland, as the ground is often wet, muddy and terrain uneven.
These boots handle all the underfoot conditions well with a good aggressive tread pattern, and they offer good support to the ankle and rest of the foot.
If I had a couple of points that lowered the rating for me it is that they are a bit on the heavy side - but that is mainly down to the robust heavy duty sole - and they can feel a little stiff to walk in. But when working they are excellent. Others have also pointed out that they can get a bit hot and a bit sweaty - but both these points are a little picky.
All in all though, pretty decent boots for the money.

Dewalt Platinum Work Boots
Bought these boots for my work, exceptional hard wearing for my job which is a tough terrain environment with all kinds of weather. I would highly recommend these boots if you are looking for comfort and durability, I will be purchasing another pair soon.

Good quality work boots
I had previously used the cheaper, trainer style steel toe caps but after 8 months the glued on sole was separating and allowing water in. I decided on these better quality traditional style boots with a stitched on sole. They are very comfortable when worn with boot socks and look good, so far they are wearing very well. The only criticism I have is that my feet can get overly sweaty as there is no ventilation but that is to be expected with this type of boot. Overall a good purchase
