Rated 4 out of 5 by Does exactly what it says This is a good little saw from Dewalt. It is easy to use, and I like the that you operate the blade guard from the handle. Using the saw without extraction does send saw dust from here to next week but tell me a saw that doesn't. It is too soon to comment on reliability but it seems sturdy and well put together. 15 Oct 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by chop saw poor This is a very poor saw. Worst purchase I have ever made. Vision on the blade is obscured by clumpy handle. Guard fouls work. Saw kicks and has poor blade brake. No top handle makes it difficult to carry. Blade change is fiddly Really wished I had bought the makita. 28 Mar 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good mitre saw I needed to replace my Erbauer mitre saw and have always wanted a Dewalt so l bit the bullet and purchased this model as l am a diy`er, and could not justify a more expensive model. l noticed that the motor was much quieter than the Erbauer, also is less bulky and lighter. The saw works straight out of the box and is easier to operate. As others have mentioned beware of the dust that it produces, l`ve just purchased a dust extraction kit. As for reliability only time will tell. 8 Feb 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by DeWalt DW777 Had several cheap brand mitre saws and decided to buy a proper machine this time. Obviously costs more and you get less features, but the build, accuracy and quality of cut etc. are far superior to a cheap machine. No adjustments required out of box and purchased a de7778 dust extraction kit which means there is almost no dust, even with an old Dyson acting as extractor. I do miss the laser line I had on my last Rexion mitre saw, but sure I will get used to it. 14 Sep 2014

Answer:
Hi Phil
No this mitre saw doesn't have a laser or anything to show the cutting line, although this line is being replaced in the next catalogue with the following upgraded version which does have our hugely popular XPS shadow line system.
2217J - DWS777-GB - 240V
9917J - DWS777-LX - 110V

I hope this helps?

Answer:
Hi There
No the saw does not come with a saw stand/leg stand.
If you do want a leg stand for your saw then either of the 2 following stands will work and come with the quick-release brackets to quickly attach your saw to the stand.
57155 - Short Beam Leg stand 1.1m (extends to 2.5m) or
47888 - Mitre Saw Station 1.7m (extends to 3.8m)
