Rated 5 out of 5 by from FABULOUS BIT OF KIT Had to replace any old table saw of inferior quality. decided that I would try a Dewalt, as their reputation for quality is reassuring. I am not disappointed. This is a super product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dewalt DW745 240v Having not powered the saw up, I cannot give a rated review. Reason being, after setting the saw up, the table bed was 3/16" out of true, the fence was true to the blade, which meant I could cut accurate lengths, but the mitre slots were way out, after speaking to the Dewalt help desk, they seem to think it could have been damage in transit, as the box was in good order, I tend to doubt it. I have returned the saw to screwfix and will be taking delivery of a new Dewalt soon. Screwfix have been brilliant ,Dewalt however could have been a bit more caring to a customer, being told that undoing several screws and mountings might correct the problem, I gave up, if i wanted a flat pack build- it yourself saw, I could have built one myself, I chose Dewalt for the NAME as most people do, so i would urge Dewalt to get off their high horse and do something helpful for your LOYAL customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Couldn't be without this now. Spent ages comparing different makes and models before buying this. I bought the folding trolley to go with mine as well. I use it most days for cutting sheet timber, fine cutting architraves, and reducing large timbers down to the exact sizes that I need. Hard to cut rebates as the riving knife sits higher than the blade. Not a replacement for a workshop table saw but invaluable on site.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best Fully agree with all comments. This is light enough to carry around [not too far though - just from van to site] and packs up well for transportation. I bought the deWalt folding table/trolley to move it around and that makes it very portable over longer distances, as well as giving an ideal working height when you get there. It's handled everything I've thrown at it, including ripping v. thick stock. Expensive, but you really do get what you pay for. In this case, superb deWalt quality!

Mitre slot

Can you tell me the width of the mitre slot please? Is the the standard 19mm?

Why is this so much more expensive than the 110v version?

On screwfix.com you are advertising the 110v version of this saw much cheaper than the 240v version...it's exactly the same saw - so why the huge price difference?
Asked by: monoecho

Is this a new model, just released?

Asked by: Tom555

Will this take a dado blade?

Asked by: Double1
no dado blades are not recommended on any Dewalt saws

Why is this so dear?

I would like to buy this table saw but it is priced way way above what I can get it for elsewhere. I can buy this with it's rolling stand for about the same price.
