Rated 5 out of 5 by Pretty good Good piece of kit, ripped 3mm off a door with a good clean cut, 2ah batteries from other compatible tools are wiped out in under a minute though so invest in a 4 or 5ah battery. 15 Aug 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dewalt cordless skill saw Love this saw, compatible with the 18v batteries from my drill and driver so 'bare' version was ideal. very powerful and nice balance. Definitely the most accurate skill saw I have used and makes cuts a pleasure. Only had it a week so no score on reliability. 26 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's a Dewat, what more to say A nice light but affective saw. As someone has stated a pity Screwfix are not more competive, 9 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Circular Saw Great piece of kit. Nice and light, easy to use, no mains cable. I bought the 'bare' unit and use a 4AH battery from one of my drills. Used it all day on floorboards and still plenty of power left. Cuts really well and easy to adjust settings. Would certainly buy another if needed. Could get it a bit cheaper online from another company but would rather buy locally. Got some recourse should things go wrong. 8 Feb 2016

Answer:
Hi Jack
Unfortunately this cordless circular saw isn't compatible with the guide rail system.
The only circular saw that is compatible with the guide rail system (other than the Plunge Saw) is DWE576K, 43565 or 81147, which are 230v or 110v corded versions.

Answer:
Hi There
Yes this Circular Saw does use the same batteries as the DCD776C2 drill, it will use any of the DEWALT 18V XR Li-Ion slide pack batteries.
Although I would recommend using higher amp hour batteries with circular saw due to circular saw being quite high on the power usage. I would personally use either the 4.0Ah Batteries 61372 or the 5.0Ah Battery 6328D.

Hi there, No this product just comes in a cardboard box.
If you are after a kit box to keep it in then I would suggest something like the DEWALT Tstak Deep Tool box 1254F or the DEWALT ToughSystem mid size Tool box 32714 or large sized tool box 97336.

Answer:
Hi, This Circular Saw requires an 18V XR Li-Ion Slide Pack batteries (example would be 61372 or 6328D), preferably a big Ah to make sure you get the best run time. Something like a 3.0, 4.0 or 5.0Ah battery, although you can use the smaller Ah's you just wont get the best of run times.
