Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Drill at good price I had a Dewalt previously, not the brushless version though and only with the 1.3ah batteries. This one is much better. Not sure if it's the brushless motor or the batteries that makes the difference, but this one seems to last an age longer than the old one. They've shifted the worklight to the bottom of the unit now and this works around the issue with the old one, which cast shadows when trying to light the work-point. All in all, and aside from what seems to be slightly lacking QA standards at the factory (mine wasn't the "tightest" unit ever) it's a good drill with plenty of power and well worth the money. 17 Jun 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent drill Simply awesome- power is best in class, battery endurance and charge times are long and short respectively. Replaced an old 18v ni-cad makita and very pleased so far. 2ah batteries are more than sufficient for heavy work loads. Not used in cold weather yet though. It would have 5 stars but it came without the belt clip. Hopefully will lasts as long as makita. 13 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth twice the price Fantastic drill. Used many others in the past, this is by far the best. Prefer it over the top Makitas. Better in the hand. Was a bit worried about the 2.0mah batteries, but even after a full day laying the floor for a large loft conversion I was on two out of three battery bars. Very impressive. If you're reading the reviews, I'll save you some time - just buy it. 13 Jun 2016

Answer:
Hi There
Yes this is a hammer drill, drill driver and can be used as a screwdriver.
It is a great drill for masonry drilling and can comfortably drill masonry holes up to 16mm, just make sure you have the drill on the hammer setting and use a masonry/concrete drill bit.
For anything over 16mm you really should use an SDS+ drill like 45039 or 4412F.

Hi There
Yes you can use this drill as a Screwdriver and if you are doing repetitive screws of the same size you can use the torque setting to make sure all screws go in to the same depth.
It also has Hammer function and a normal non hammer drill function as well.

Answer:
Hi Carl
Yes these batteries will work perfectly on the 2nd fix nailer and any other 18V XR Tools you may have. In fact I prefer to use the 2.0Ah Li-Ion batteries with the 2nd fix nailer as I find it easier to use being smaller and slightly lighter but also the 2.0Ah batteries have great runtime to do anything I have ever needed to do during the day.
