Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent! Works smoothly. Really powerful, though it's only 60 nm. Batteries, due to bl motor, have an extended working time. Really worth buying!! 28 Jan 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Drill This drill was bought to compliment my Makita. The Makita is good but you'd notice the difference using this Dewalt. The drill is powerful, lightweight and is easy to use. I haven't used any of the other features yet so can't give much info on it as I've only been using it a few days. Having 2 batteries is a bonus although I've only used one to date. The charge lasts for ages so most jobs can be catered for on one charge. The light is a bit of a feature which helps with seeing what is being drilled and i haven't seen any difference in battery charge. Charging time is quick. It's by far the best drill I've ever bought. 7 Jan 2016

Would this be suitable for drilling 6" holes with a hole saw through 22mm pine?

Answer:
Hi There,
I would not recommend using this drill to drill a 6" holesaw bit. It would probably jut about cope with it but you are going to running very high current through the motor and my guess is that the built in protection for the tool would stop you doing the cut.
IF you are needing to drill a 6" holesaw bit through pine or any other wood i would suggest using the 3 speed Brushless Combi 4853D or the Brushed version 36082, or using a corded high power drill.

Answer:
Hi, you can use screwdriver bits with this drill straight from the box if the bits are 50mm long, otherwise the best way to use the smaller screwdriver bits is to have a bit holder like 37794 or 6113D. If you dont have these then getting a screwdriver kit like 94904 or 7045F will give you the screwdriver bits and the bit holder.
