well engineered drill Screwfix delivered again. Next working day and on this product exceptional price. This is anything but entry level to the DeWalt range despite its pricing - you notice the step up in quality immediately you use the drill. 1.3ah battery is more than sufficient for the DIYer - professional users will probably demand more - but they will also be prepared to take up a higher level of investment. Great product offered by Screwfix at a great price and delivered the next working day! 22 Jul 2011
Best DIY tool i have owned Bought this drill set exactly 3 years ago with solid constant use, from drilling screwing breaking etc, always held the charge on both batteries dropped from the height of 3 meters with only a scratch, I would be lost without this kit, this drill has basically made my full house rebuild easier, highly recommend to anyone looking for a decent cordless combi 7 Jul 2015
Fantastic DIYers drill I have had this drill for 7 years and it is only just showing signs of ageing. It is very powerful and for the price, you can't ask for better, comfortably goes through wood and metal with ease. Only downside for me was the physical size, it’s light enough in weight but I struggle to get it in tight spaces. As someone else said, the hammer function lacks in comparison to others, my friend's Makita seems to punch through brick a lot easier. Only reason it got 4 stars for reliability was the batteries, one died after 6 years and the other is struggling to hold charge. I’ll defiantly look to stick with DeWalt but get the drill and impact set which suits my needs. 18 Jun 2015
