Used only with a cordless drill, the first 9 holes on porceline tiles ok . The drip gadget was ok but needs topping up frequently. I did what the instructions advised and started at 45* angle and slowly move the drill to right angle.
On the 10th hole it was blunt and only penetrated about 1 mm.Then put a masonary bit on with sds power drill which did the job...
Still looking for one of these bits that go on for ever or might buy shares in De Walt...

as someone who makes a living fittting bathrooms i thought i would give this drill bit a try , BIG MISTAKE , absolute rubbish, drilled all of two holes in porcelain and then melted (yes melted) even though i had a constant supply of water to the bit face, never again i think i will stick with Marcrist. Really wanted to give it no stars but screwfix system wont let me.

I might have got something wrong but I couldn't get this to not skid all over the tile. I've found decent arrow head ones are much better. Useless to me.

Good clean hole , keep well cooled, found the drip tray a bit of a pain to use but the base of cooling is great to locate the drill when starting off , no slipping off.
Will use again , happy with its performance.
