Just taken up some decking after 10 plus years ... which was fixed down with these clips (or some similar). Decking was still fixed firmly/did their job. Galvanised surface questionable after that time but no real signs of serious corrosion.
Screw fixed these ones as opposed to nails on old ones(screws not supplied) used torx head screws so that screw would sit tight in the driver ... made job a tad easier.
Use ratchet straps to pull twisted boards into place plus a big hammer for further encouragement ... no problem with twisted boards.
Made up spacers to maintain gap sizes.
Only thing missing is a bit of square section tube to tap them into place with.
Look great = can't see them. Used fencing rails as decking material and they look better using these clips than a mate's expensive larch decking fixed down with c/sunk screws.

They are hard work to fix, but do the job nicely. Not as good as the old clips I have used before from B&Q. But the price is much better. IF you have cheap un-straight boards you will have no chance of fitting.
I put a screw at an angle on each deckboard on the inside to fix to deck to help stop any movement.

clips are fine but cant believe they have saved 2p by leaving out the hollow square section driving tool which is essential to fix these.Dont buy em cos you cant fix em without this driving tool

These clips come with no fitting instructions and the technical department aat Sabre Fix were less than helpful.
The clips need something like a 9/32" deep quarter drive socket placed over the point to allow square driving and it helps if you use a second clip as a spacer between the board and the joist to stop the lower part of the clip binding as you drive it.
Ratchet clamps are advised even with thicker boards (we used good quality 38 mm boards but even these had some slight twist and the clamps made sure the boards were pulled down as the clips were driven in)
Overall these clips could be better made but the resulting look of the deck was very good. Time will show if the clips remain tight and creak free
