Simple and effective carcase joiners where additional support or strength is required. Got a but confused with the ref to 6ga screws. This actually means 6 gauge, so any size 6 woodscrew will fit fine.
I used 6 x 25mm ( Product Code 15680 ) to attach to standard 13mm thick kitchen unit carcases.

What can I say, a really useful product to have lying around, not just for cabinet making but for other repairs and DIY jobs around the house.

The best feature of the assembly joint pack is that it is immediately obvious how it is to be used. The worst thing about it is that it can be fiddly to hold in place whilst fixing the first screw - but see my simple tip below on how to achieve 100% success. I used brown units to put together the framework for a large (W3m x D1m x H1m) temporary cold frame to protect plants and pots over the winter months - that colour works well with treated timber. My early attempts at lining up the edge of the block with the edge of the first piece of framing were very hit-and-miss - about half the time the block ended up out of square. Then it dawned on me: just screw the block to any suitable off-cut of planed wood, lay the off-cut over the perpendicular face of the piece that you want to attach the block to and, hey presto, its lined up ready for pilot hole and screw, with the mating face of the block flush with the edge of the wood. Fix to the first timber, unscrew the off-cut, marry up the second timber, clamp together, screw in, joint complete and on to the next one! I put three blocks per 1m length of timbers to be joined, and I have every confidence that they will hold the framework (and its perspex cladding) together in what is often a windy position. I'm very pleased with the product.
