Heat is your friend
Bought some of these to cover a rabbit run. Needed to cut them to length & was very apprehensive about the job having read the reviews here so tried some test cuts first. Cutting them cold using a scissors or hacksaw causes them to shatter. The easiest way is to warm the area to be cut & make it more pliable. I used an old paint stripping heat gun, but a hairdryer on full heat would do the job. Clamp the sheet lightly between 2 lumps of ply. Heat along the line to be cut for a few seconds & the plastic gives enough to be easily cut. I used a junior hacksaw & kitchen scissors, though a bread knife would even do it. Don't overheat or the ridges will warp - use just enough so that the plastic is warm to touch.

Avoid the thin stuff!
Reading the reviews afterwards I think buying the thicker sheet would have been the sensible choice. This is so thin it cracks easily and I found difficult to cut .
Also make sure you don't stack sheets outside - there was a really small instruction label stuck on the sheet which warns against this. I didn't notice this and badly warped most of the sheets. All a bit of a disaster, so I ended using something else instead for the roof!

Although it was light and relatively easy to fit, it warped quickly and after 3 years was brittle. It shattered in strong winds and if you press it. 10 year guarantee is somewhat optimistic. I need to replacd the entire roof with something better. Wish i had used propper product in the first place. I suggest you only use this product indoors.

Great low profile roofing sheets, need a bit more support than the deeper ones. One year on and still looking good.

Height and translucent/clear?
Does this sheet come in a clear plastic? And if you lay it on a flat surface how tall to the top peaks is the overall height of a sheet?
Is there any way to purchase a sample of this material to evaluate before making a large purchase?
Or of similar materials if that makes a difference.
