These belts do the job nice enough but use them continuously and the belt gets hot, very hot and then the glue holding it together fails. This seems to be about the time they've stopped cutting well enough so maybe its not a bad thing.

Hire firm renting sander had no belts but Screwfix branch open after rush hour, had them in stock for immediate pick up. Job done with two belts on 9 sqmtrs. and three in hand.
Belts robust and plenty of bite. Don't put the sander down while rotating! It will run off, and head for the nearest cubby hole to hide, edge to jump off, etc. Ensure the belt is rotating in direction of arrow, when loading. Wear gloves, ear protection, goggles, and a fine dust filter mask, -especially necessary if sanding treated timber.
