Good for some no doubt
After a many weeks of researching how best to re-point our sandstone slabs I went for this product with the following results
*** Good ***
+ Pointing itself looks great
+ Covered pretty well, better than I thought but do the maths
- It stained the slabs as it contains oil, you can feel it on your hands. Sandstone is very porous, so beware, less porous stones I assume its ok
- Its very permeable, if you run some water over it literally passes straight through. Whether this is an issue or not remains to be seen, I can't see how it might not cause a problem but many seem to use it ok. Why can't they make this stuff that sheds water, thats why we went to great lengths to add a good drainage slope!
- Note that it smells of 'glue' for sometime after, not a big issue to me but beware if you've having a party a few days later
In summary, only time will tell, It does look very good, apart from the staining on the edge of the slabs which I've scrubber with washing up liquid a few times, you may think this is not big deal, its means the edges are little darker especially on the red sandstone slabs.
I intend to apply some sealer to the top surface

Better than cement
A bit early to give a proper review since I only used it yesterday. I bought three packets because I was told some time ago that it did not go as far as the packet suggested. In the event I used just one packet but needed a little more to finish off the final joint by the house. I will do this after I have prepared another patio and the footpaths that join the second to the first.
Very easy to use. I didn't use a pointing tool on the first patio but will probably use one on the second to see the difference.
