Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roof sealant Had a leaky flat roof and build a porch, used this product to seal leaky roof, worked a teat. Prepare well by removing dust, have throwaway gloves and brush, otherwise great. Used some stick on lead to seal porch roof then went over joins with this, again same criteria but sealed the porch very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good coverage and tough Better coverage than you might expect. Covered a tatty felt roof 15m square in an afternoon by brush using two 5kg tins with a bit left over. It is very treacly and you are almost daubing or spreading it rather than painting so not sure how easy it would roll - a dip and splat on seemed the best approach as over brushing brings the fibres to the surface if you try to brush it too thin. Thinners are very pungent so you don't want to be down wind or too close to it. I can still smell it oudoors after 24hrs and it is still a bit tacky. Feels like it will be very tough. Expect to chuck away any kit you use or get it on. Rained after application but it just shrugged it off so seems like a good choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant stuff Old garage roof cement sheeting was cracked in places and letting water in. A search on screw fix for a temporary solution led me to give this product a try. Put on a pair of marigold gloves over a thinner latex pair and got on with the job on a warm sunny day. The flexacryl was easily spread with a large paint brush and has fixed the leaky roof a treat. Highly recommend this product.

How well will this work on a fiberglass roof?

I have a leak on a expansion joint on a fiberglass roof would this product be suitable?

Could this product be poured into a typical puddle area on a flat roof to improve levels, maybe 2-3mm thick?

Asked by: willbarlings
Thank you for your recent question relating to our product. I can confirm that in areas which poole we do recommend applying 2 coats of Flexacryl. The product will need to be brush applied and not poured. Applying 2 coats will give a coverage of around 2-3mm due to the consistency of the product. For your information 1kg of product will cover 1m². I trust this helps.

Can you apply 2 coats of this? Will it adhere to itself? Thanks

I've applied 1 coat onto a concrete balcony and all seems good however I'd like it to have another coat for belt and braces. Also cause it will have occasional footfall. Has anyone applied more than one cost ( cause the tin says one coat) does it nicely adhere to itself? Thanks in advance.
Asked by: J0nty
Normally one coat of Flexacryl is sufficient but you can apply a second coat and it will bond to itself once the first coat is fully cured. A second coat is normally applied to flat roof where pooling water is occurring. Outside of this the product is not designed to take foot traffic apart from maintenance purposes, however loose laid promenade tiles can be put down for more regular foot traffic.
