Bought this yesterday with a diamond cutting disc ( think it was Erbauer jet disc ) and was using it to cut through brick to sink a copper water supply pipe for a shower well I must say it was like a knife through butter did the job brilliantly the only downside to the grinder was there wasn't a case with it which I also forgot to check when ordering it and I thought it might have been soft start as some of the cheaper models are and the power button does click to stay on but perhaps that's a good thing because if anything goes wrong and it was dropped on the floor you would want it to switch off with any sort of blade on it overall it's a nice grinder one last thing can't really comment on reliability as only used it once but gave it four stars as Bosch usually are fine

I used this to take out a lot of pointing in red brick, it did the job easy, lots of power, it never struggled. It is light enough to use with one hand and feels slim in the hand. I was using it all day long and it never showed any signs of weakness and was not heavyto hold for so long.

The bosch angle grinder was my first experience with an angle grinder and I'd definitely recommend this for an amateur DIYer. It's very easy to use, light enough to lift and hold but solid enough to do the job.
The multi position handle was useful although it took me a while to find a position I felt confident with.
Although the instructions clearly outline the safety precautions I would have liked a 'kit' including thick gloves and goggles because the first time I used it I was shocked at the amount of sparks given off. Further uses didn't worry me as I was prepared but having all the safety kit in a single pack would have made me more cautious than just reading the words in the instruction booklet.
