It stopped working Great sounding unit should of had DAB for the cost. Hardly used mine and it stopped working after about a year old, just clicks on and off (relay) and totally unusable. Still looks brand new without a mark. Gutted! 15 Sep 2014
Thought my old radio was good. Until I bought one of these. It suits my workshop a treat. The sound is unbelievable, and it can do so much more than tune into Classic FM. it's portable; just, but you need Samson's arms. Still, If you are in the market for a site radio, you won't do better than this. The only downside is no DAB. Not that I want it, but sooner or later I'll have to have it I suppose. This radio is a hefty price, but it looks good, sounds good, and by golly it IS good. You won't be sorry I promise. 15 Dec 2012
because im worth it! been trying to justify spending this much on a work radio, then finally convinced myself i deserve it! i have a bosch drill so already had a couple of li ion batteries, had a Dewalt radio once but it fell to bits after rolling round my van for 12months, so ordered the top of range "50w" model and waited eagerly with anticipation. Holy Mother of Moses!!!Wowzers!!! what a Beauty!!! I like it,... a Lot!!!runs off battery, charges batteries, charges i phone and mp3 player, plays music from any device/phone/card through the media bay! (even has a shuffle button & remote control) and its loud!!! then when its plugged into the mains, it can be used as a 240v splitter while still doing all of the above, so i can run a laptop or another lead from it! its even got a radio!!! there supposed to be almost indestructable! ive seen videos on youtube of these units being launched down flights of concrete steps etc, cant wait to try it!! did i mention the weight? its like carrying a dead body up ladders! but over all its the best out there, pricey! but nicey! and begging to get nicked! 14 Nov 2012
brute of a radio firstly its 12kgs which is like lugging another toolbox up the ladder, its built for abuse.I used to put my spots on top,its so loud on site its incredible,no distortion, clear as a bell and great depth/quality of sound.Great bass, even better if you sit it on a cavity wall with the sub directly over the cavity :) .digital display is much easir to tune than others on the market, and rarely loses reception. The media bay is awesome, kept my ipod touch safe, dry and dust free Only downfall is the weight and no DAB radio. Its a must for loud site work but you need arms of steel to carry it!! 9 Feb 2012
