Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonder multi tool Excellent bit of kit - wish I had bought it earlier - could have saved myself two days of back braking work. Thoroughly recommend this multi function drill.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok for light work this is an entry level/ diy drill in my opinion, no good for sustained heavy work. only bought it as replacement for a stolen drill it lasted 4 months

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first SDS drill I have only had it a few days but it seems to be up to the very high Bosch standard. I have quite a number of Bosch tools so chose this as I know the brand quality is good. Took the plaster off the wall to chase a cable in with no problems and good precision. Changing the bits isn't very easy. Feels light in the hand and well balanced. I like the depth gauge too. Plenty of room in the carry case for all the extra bits that will no doubt build up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great SDS drill Bought this as the 5KG drill was getting a bit heavy for the lighter work. This drill did the trick fine and as expected made light work of drilling 5-8mm holes in concrete. Cant comment on reliability as have only been using for a few days. Easy to operate and has all of the SDS functions you would expect.

110v or 240v

What's the difference between the 2 types and is one better than the other?
Asked by: MckD
Hi MckD. Both voltage executions are exactly the same product, with the same specifications. the only difference in the products is the power input they need to work. On construction sites across the UK its common that the only mains power available is in 110V, rather than the 230V (or 240V) output commonly found in residential environments - and this is why we produce products to suit both sets of needs.

Can I use my normal drill bits with this drill

Asked by: Chinnie
Hi Chinnie. Unfortunately you would need an SDS-plus adaptor for this to work.

Looking at a bit end on whilst slowly rotating, is there any visible runout?

Asked by: MJRs
Hi there, On GBH machines (hammers) these machines are designed for hammering holes in concrete or other hard materials. these are not designed as precision machines & therefore there maybe some runout this can be minimized by the use of high quality Bosch SDS drill bits.
