Generally good, does what it needs to do and the blind itself appears to be good quality. The plastic brackets and the mechanism could have been of better quality but you get what you pay for. My only gripe is that it isn't actually 1200mm wide, the blind is at least 20mm narrower leaving slight gaps down the sides. If you want it to be EXACTLY 1200mm wide, then buy the bigger one and cut it down.

Light spill seems unavoidable at edges but otherwise fine. Rolling material so it's close to window helps. Fitted it to a Velox type window which it's not intended for but by fitting a hook at bottom middle and tightening is just about OK. The sliding piece at dumb end is put in after blind is fitted to stop it coming out. Being dumb myself it took a while figuring that out.

Very easy to fit but not possible exclude all the sunlight that wakes me up at 5 am! If fitted inside the window recess there is a small gap at each side through which the sunlight can penetrate. If fitted on the wall it can be made to overlap the window at each side but still the light comes in because it hangs a couple of centimetres from the wall. I intend to experiment with the possibility of rolling the fabric around the roller in the opposite sense. That is, with the 'front' surface on the outside of the roll. It should then hang closer to the wall.
