A previous reviewer states " The previous reviewer has not solvent welded this fitting. It's designed to be solvent welded that's why it seemed a loose fit and has no rubber rings."
Since the Screwfix page describes is as "push fit" I suppose I'm not surprised they didn't use solvent. Must have been a been of a mess though!
Perhaps Screwfix should correct their description.

Floplast products are competitive, but from my experience not as robust as I would like. Having your toilet, baths, etc, going through this and other such products after finding one split doesn't give me a good night's rest.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by lmeister make sure you solvent weld it
The previous reviewer has not solvent welded this fitting. It's designed to be solvent welded that's why it seemed a loose fit and has no rubber rings.
So make sure you solvent weld it and it will look better on visible soil stacks.
If your soil stack is not visible, or you might want to change fittings at a later date, use the bulkier SP581 which has a ring fitting. If your joining the SP581 to a cut pipe then you can solvent weld in an SP124 fitting. This turns your cut pipe back into a ring fitting.
The above was not obvious to me as a DIY'er so might help someone out.
