As an RCBO it works well and test's within permitted trip times etc., for the price no complaints. If fitting into a different brand box, check alignment of terminal holes for the bus bar. You could be hooking it in place rather then clamping it in.

All the BG rcbos are very good value but the quality control has to improve. Of the 15 we used in the last unit one had a stripped thread and two were outside of the corect tripping times, One even refused to trip on the test button. If you use these always take a spare as the hassle of returning to swop one outways the money saved.
They could be the best value on the market with better quality control.

As pointed out in another review these RCBO's are difficult to get to fit in the board of another manufacturer. I needed a Merlin 3 phase rcd however i too opted to try and fit BG RCBO's instead. It was a difficult fit but a few rolls of gaffer tape , no nails and some 8x4 woodscrews you could say my RCBO's 'fit like a glove'. Now im off to fit some screw type lamps into bayonet holders, no rest for the wicked.
