Rated 3 out of 5Â by fatchris variable quality nice looking
I have bought a few of these, look nice when installed but each one works differently, some smooth and feel like a quality item, some are so stiff need fiddling with. some jam right up.
if collecting from branch try before you leave so you can swap if a bad one. once fitted not had a problem with one, look nice in any finish.

Well made, simple to fit and operate. Don't look out of place in fact very retro for house of its age..

The finish is not very good and looms quite cheap. The satin chrome front is not well cast and there is a noticeable recess in the casting. In addition the " Vacant/Engaged" indicator has clearly smudged writing.
As such I won't be putting the latch up in my house as it really is of a very poor quality.

Fairly reasonable bolt, that works o.k..
Screws rubbish as normal, but hopefully won't be taking them out again!
Straight forward to fit, as long as trim the length of the actuating rod well, as any pressure causes the dial to show "VACA" and/or "ENGA".!
