Bahco Superior Hard-Point Handsaw 9Tpi 22"
I have had this saw for about 6 months - cruises through wood with no problems. The blade is strong and so stays straight with no wobble so you can get a good long action going, especially with the 22" length.
Unfortunately though, I annihilated my Bahco Superior by sawing through about 3 metres of 12mm cement board... I know now to use a knife and a straight edge to cut and break. My saw now looks more like a straight edge rule, such was the damage sustained by my ignorance. Still, lesson learned and I won't do it again. I would however not hesitate to get another saw as I'm sure if I had continued to use it properly i.e. not like a wild ape, it would still be performing well.

I have had the barracuda before that was a very good saw, but i thought I would give this one a go and once again this is another spot on saw, if you need a good saw buy this one

Cut nicely whilst it lasted, but I finished it off in a single day of laminate floor laying. I know that MDF isn't great for saws, but I was expecting more than that...

Good firm saw
Great for tough cutting, although the Bahco Barracuda saw is just as good and stays sharper longer and costs less. I have tried both but personally I will be returning to my old favourite the Stanley Fat Max, basically when it comes to hand saws performance and reliability come at a price.
