I consider that the plastic is far too brittle for and item that requires nailing only 3mm from the bottom of the door. Certainly not suitable option for doors. The nails supplied tends bend and pvc tends to split or fracture. Tried twice to install and each time the same result.
I only wish I purchased the aluminium type which are a little more expensive but are more robust and they do have screws fixings which can make it far easier tfor installation.
It is true what they say you only get what you pay for, so I suggest you buy the more expensive type to save the frustration and I am sure you will get a better result.
So off to Screwfix for a good named aluminium draught excluder this time.

These strips were very easy to install and cut to size and eliminated draught around the door. Only downfall is that it would be useful to have a few extra holes along the length of the strip.
