These are more flexible than your most flexible friend. I may as well have used paperclips. These are only good if you're securing into gently screened topsoil. Any chance of a stone and they buckle like a crippled donkey.
I think Pritt Stick would be better than these.

Ideal if you want to avoid lying across landscape fabric trying to hold it in place as the wind tries to do the opposite.
Ideal for holding in place the overlap between one length of fabric and the other.
Ideal for securing cuts in the fabric that may need to be made to go around shrubs and plants.
Tip: buy more than you think you may need. Don't risk running out of ground hooks - you'll end up having to place bits of wood, plant pots, stones, tools etc to hold your fabric in place. You'll then have to remove all these items when you've finished.

Easy to use and after being advised to stretch the hooks slightly before tapping them into ground worked really well. Kept scaffolding mesh upright in winds and kept chickens in for rehoming.
