Functional hinges avoiding the big door closer. Easy enough to install, not so easy to adjust in one person as it is a bit tricky to push down on the turned spring (spring in tension) and try to screw the tiny screw to position. Over all do the job but are little squeaky.

Great qualitiy, well made. Slightly bigger than normal ones but they work perfect, once fitted just turn the top with the allen key and insert the small screw and bingo! The door even shuts on the latch if you have it tight enough. TIP: take them apart and grease them up very easy to do and that will stop any noise.
Will definitely buy again!

Fed up of vicious Perco type closers I thought I would risk buying a pair of these to try in spite of the previous review. It's true: first few swings after installation and the hinge was unbelievably noisy, but... a couple of drops of oil down the middle and it's now totally silent. Seems they're just assembled dry.
The adjustment range is better than a Perco, and easy to alter adjustment as required. It is possible to inadvertently wind the grub screw all the way in, meaning removal of the hinge is required to retrieve it.
Totally discreet design. There's a bit more play than is ideal, but it's not horrendous.
The actual barrel of the hinge is slightly bulkier than conventional equivalent, which may throw alignment out on an existing door. Not an issue on mine as I was hanging all new ones.

Excellent but noisy
Good quality hinge easy to adjust tension, however the springs are quite noisy against the inside of the hinge body.
