Rated 5 out of 5 by great white paint If you need some white undercoat then there is 2.5 litres of the stuff in the container, use a brush to get some out then rub it over the things that you want to cover with paint and you will be amazed, 17 Aug 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product The primer has good, even consistency and couple of coats does the job well. Having used different - more expensive brands before I don't see much difference, so why pay more? Definitely recommend it. 31 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top stuff! Used this many times now for priming bare timber, pine & plywood. Fantastic stuff. Good, thick consistency and spreads very well. I would recommend always going with 2 coats before adding topcoat - it just gives better coverage and opacity. I wouldn't use anything else now! 28 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Undercoat Using on house exterior woodwork, facias and soffits, two coats with a sand down between, make excellent base for Gloss 28 Jul 2016

Answer:
Hello Mollie777. Peeling paint on a recently painted wall can be as a result of several potential causes. surface contamination, powdery and breatheable coatings (for example contract paints) and trapped moisture are just a few examples as to why a paint system may begin to flake. The Leyland Trade Acrylic Primer Undercoat is an excellent product for quenching surface absorbency - for example on new plaster - and for promoting adhesion of some decorative coatings (for example an Acrylic Eggshell). However, given the several potential causes as to why your paint is flaking, I cannot say whether this product would work or not. I would suggest removing all loose and flaking material to a firm edge. Then sand and clean the surface to be painted. Once this is complete I would suggest a primer/sealer more suited for sealing powdery/porous surfaces. Thanks
