Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Used this for a project using MDF I wanted a primer/undercoat that would help keep the edges smooth. I was recommended that an acrylic primer would work just as well as the more expensive products designed for this job. And low and behold it worked perfectly. I gave it 3 coats and obviously sanded between each coat. I could have got away with 2 but wanted to make sure it was smooth as the face. The price is good for the ammount that you get with good coverage. And would definately use this product again and again. Only gripe is the design of the container when trying to pour there is a lip that holds a fair bit but I can live with this. 30 Jan 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Paintaholic ! I use Leyland Trade Undercoat on a regular basis and it always provides a consistent finish. And it is very competitively priced for two and a half litres 11 Jan 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's a Primer / Undercoat This paint works extremely well, just like all Leyland products. It is after all a "Primer" used as an "undercoat" providing a key to the surface before the top coat is applied. Yes, it does go on thin but that's how it works ... 12 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Primer High quality acrylic primer that is easy to apply and fast drying. And hardly any odour! Almost makes painting a pleasure! 10 Dec 2015

Could I use this as a primer coat on a terrazzo tile floor prior to coating with a 2-part epoxy paint? Will the resulting finish be durable and not prone to flaking?

Walls are sound but multicoloured. I'm worried this might show through the paper. Is this the material for the job?
