very poor item
I can't believe I have the same item as other reviewers. This is a very poor quality product with hard and brittle plastic connectors and curtain hooks. One connector broke whilst fitting, and the curtain hooks are so misshapen that they are very difficult to slide. Also the hooks are very thin and made of the same brittle plastic I dont believe that they are going to last long. I am very embarrassed to be supplying this item to my customer, but it's the only one I can get today and we have tenants moving in tomorrow. Guess I shall be back to change it in due course.

This is now our 3rd curtain rail we've had to purchase in the space of 18 months. Due to the arrangement of our bathroom I've been forced to install a U-shaped curtain rail. The others I have installed have all struggled with the weight of a wet shower curtain far away from the mounting points.
This rail with the additional support mid way is performing much better. Installing it is pretty easy. All the pieces fit together very tightly, which aids to it being a stable product. It was also very easy to fit on my own. With a wet curtain on the rail, there's no sign of any bending which gives me the confidence that the product may continue to be reliable for many years. There is a little movement in the rail if I put my weight into it, but as I say, nothing noticeable in day to day use.
Unfortunately it isn't perfect. The runners are not the smoothest, and a little bit of thought and attention are required to pull the curtain back and forth. It's not an inconvenience but non the less I feel I should be able to pull a shower curtain without engaging my brain first thing in the morning!
The other comment I would make, is that the vertical support is shorter than expected. In my case it fitted perfectly, leaving about an 30mm of shower curtain overlapping the bath. However I did use the full length of the pole and didn't install it as snugly as it perhaps should have been. From the ceiling to the top of the shower curtain is around 350mm. I would strongly advise doing a little maths before purchasing.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with the rail. For a budget rail, I think it's perfectly adequate. Especially given the challenging U-Shape I have it installed in.

Shower curtain rail
Very reasonably priced shower curtain rail which is easily installed. It does exactly what it's supposed to do with no frills.
The only issue is where the curtain hooks slide around the corners, the junctions are not smooth causing the hooks to snag.
