3-Tonne Garage Jack
Heavy stable well made jack
This jack is heavy 39kg, well made, sturdy and stable. So far I have only recently used it on a couple of small cars so reliability is unknown, but it manouvers lifts and releases very easily with a 40" (1015mm) long 1.25" (30mm) dia 2mm thick tubular steel, two part detachable lever with rubber grip so it's easy to get right under the vehicle.
Lever twists anticlockwise to lower and is very sudden so twist very slowly.
The circular detachable saddle is substantial, a half inch deep bowl 5.25" (130mm) diameter in which you can place a wooden or rubber cushion if you wish.
Min height without saddle 120mm
Min saddle height 150mm
Max saddle height 490mm (mine reaches 508mm off load)
Overall length 25.5" (650mm) Overall width 11" (280mm)
Wheels are steel just under 3.75" dia and 2" wide.
The steel castors are about 2.25" dia by 1.25" wide.
If you remove the lever while the jacks under load, the mechanism moves into an upright position where you might not have clearance to get it back in order to lower the jack. Tapping the cog gently around will lower the jack, but best not to remove the lever whilst in use.
Manufacturer's name on mine is Hilka

A good, sustantial and solid piece of kit. It is heavy and needs of thought when handling, but this jack should be good for many years to come.
