Titan TTK587GDO 25cc 1.1hp Petrol Landscaping Multi-Tool
I purchased this product about a month ago and had problems with it cutting out. I phoned Titan technical and they said it was faulty as one of the hoses had fallen off in the fuel tank. I took it back to Screwfix who exchanged it for another one. The replacement is great, it starts first time every time, it is easy to handle and does the job it's supposed to do.

2 faults with mine, firstly had to return as the handle allen bolt didn't fit, got a new handle and bolts, then when fully assembled and full of fuel and oil the oil feed system on the chain cutter failed to work, wasted my time, returned for refund.

Seems to do the trick
Looked at quite a few long reach hedge trimmers. Some of the Chinese imports seem very poorly put together and a Stihl version was astronomically expensive for what is basically twice yearly use.
All went together quite easily although the instructions are basic. It started within a couple of pulls and was happy starting from warm and hot too. Like the quick release shoulder harness- easy to put the machine down when you need to. The hedge trimmer seemed to cope with most of my hedges fine.. even went through a couple of 10mm branches with persuasion....Used the strimmer briefly and that seems to be very effective !
My only dislikes are that the cut off switch easily gets knocked if you're using the machine at an angle close to your body - better safe than fingerless I guess... and the bag that comes with it won't take the strimmer guard head when it's all attached to its boom - you just have to leave it sticking out. No way of knowing how long the machine will last.... hopefully a good long time.

Bought this piece of kit at the weekend to replace a Ryobi trimmer/strimmer that has eventually failed after 4 years use. Endorse all the other positive reviews/comments about quality, engineering, range of attachments, ease to change and immediate starting etc. However in my opinion there is one negative feature that concerns the hedge cutter; the hedging blade will not attach directly to the main unit without the use of the extension pole. This means that in normal hedge cutting mode the whole unit is 2.2m long which makes it difficult to manoeuvre particularly in confined or difficult to get at areas. The Ryobi it replaces had this feature and with a 900mm hedging blade was still only 1.7m long. Maybe Titan should consider manufacturing an much shorter 'linking' extension so as to reduce the overall length when the extension pole is not required or appropriate.
