Rated 1 out of 5 Template Rubbish
Dovetail Template on original and replacement unit. Finger varied in length causing uneven cutting depth. Must say Screwfix replaced the the first unit quickly and refunded without quibble.

After my 5th attempt at a dovetail, one of the top clamp screws decided it was time to part company with the screw underneath. This was after the wood becoming un-clamped at least twice in the middle of a practice run. On the second un-clamping, the wood let go enough to kill one of the teeth on the comb which snapped right off as the router bit hit it.
So, 5 attempts, 1 decent dovetail, one broken clamp, one broken comb tooth and a bit with a gouge out of it.
Let's see how I get on with a return tomorrow...

Firstly - the dovetail jig does work, and gives good quality results.
But it needs a good number of practice joints, to make and understand all the adjustments needed, before committing to making a project.
Router depth is critical to +-1/2 mm. However if you make a joint a bit too tight you do not have to start again. Put the jointed wood back in the jig, decrease the router depth a touch, and reroute.
There will be much cursing before you really get to grips with it
The guides need to be set accurately, and this is awkward because their screws are covered by the clamps.
