As of 1st July 2007 the Smokefree Law, already in place in Scotland and Wales, has been in force in England. The legislation applies to public and work premises, including work vehicles and temporary structures such as marquees.
If you control or are responsible for smokefree premises, you're legally responsible for ensuring that people don't smoke in them. You could be fined up to £2500 if you don't correctly adhere to the legislation. As you'd expect, we have everything you need to make certain you don't get caught out. .
